Floridians interested in reducing pet overpopulation in Florida can now purchase the newly issued FLORIDA ANIMAL FRIEND SPAY/NEUTER LICENSE PLATE. The specialty license plate is available at any license tag office. The SPAY/NEUTER LICENSE PLATE has an annual cost of $25.00 above the standard renewal fee. You can replace your current tag at any time. Simply bring your automobile registration and driver’s license to any license tag office and you can walk away with your new SPAY/NEUTER LICENSE PLATE and the knowledge that you will have prevented the birth of an unwanted litter of puppies and kittens.

Florida Animal Friend, Inc. is a coalition of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Animal Control Association, The Humane Society of the United States, and local animal advocates.

Support Spay/Neuter Programs

A useful link for information on low-cost spay and neuter programs in the South Florida area is provided by The Coalition to Educate Alternatives to Senseless Euthanasia, Inc., CEASE. Their website contains many helpful links to other organizations in our area:   flaspay.com

A great national organization that focuses exclusively on helping cats is Alley Cat Allies. Here is a link to their website:  Alley Cat Allies

Another wonderful national organization is the ASPCA. While their scope is broader than just cats, they have some worthwhile information on their website:  ASPCA

Another worthwhile national organization is the Best Friends Animal Society. While their scope is broader than just cats, they have some useful information on their website:  Best Friends Feral Cat Resources

Thank you for your support and please remember to save lives by spaying or neutering your animals.
